If you’ve ever been to San Diego Comic-Con, you know that one of the highlights of the weekend is Marvel’s Saturday afternoon.
With the introduction of Disney’s own convention, D23, there’s always the question as to whether Marvel will have a panel at Comic-Con. This year, it didn’t seem like a possibility seeing that D23 is the weekend before.
However, Marvel honcho Kevin Fiege confirmed that there will be a Marvel panel at Comic-Con this year.
While it’s way to early for Marvel to announce what they will be bringing, but with Thor: Ragnarok (November 2017), Black Panther (February 2018), Avengers: Infinity War (May 2018), Ant-Man and the Wasp (July 2018), Captain Marvel and a still-untitled Avengers film in 2019 on the docket, fans in attendance will definitely see something amazing.
Last year, Marvel gave fans their first glimpse at the principal case of Black Panther, a parody clip from Thor: Ragnarok , introduced us to the casts of Doctor Strange and Spiderman: Homecoming, debuted the title cards for Captain Marvel (and officially debuting Brie Larson as Captain Marvel) and GOTG Vol 2.
If Marvel holds back footage from D23 (which is unlikely), look to see possibly first look trailers for Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War and possibly your first look at Brie Larson as Captain Marvel.
